| Just like all children, those with EB love soft toys. Let the child choose a favourite to accompany them throughout their treatment sessions. The soft toy can also be bandaged and dressed, so the child will feel closer to it. |
Toys can really make the child’s life special, so do not deprive them of them. However, it is important to be careful when choosing toys: do not allow objects with sharp edges; toys that are very exciting should be handled with care, since violent movements can damage the skin.
Often, a child with EB has a shorter tongue than normal. Make up games to help the child use the tongue in order to improve their speech and diction.
